Yeezus walks out… Kanye West cancels remaining tour dates
Kanye West has cancelled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour dates in the US following an on-stage rant on Saturday.
A rep for the Grammy-award winning rapper and designer told E! Online in a statement earlier today,
“The remaining dates on the Saint Pablo Tour have been canceled. Tickets will be fully refunded at point of purchase.”
The announcement comes just two days after West appeared at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. He arrived around 90 minutes late to his show, performed three songs before going on a rant about Beyonce, Jay-Z and Hilary Clinton and storming off.
Bad news comes in threes
This outburst shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans as Kanye has ended several shows abruptly during his Saint Pablo run. In October, during his performance at the Meadow’s Music and Arts festival, West ended the show due to a family emergency which was later revealed as wife Kim Kardashian being robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
The dates were rescheduled, however, whilst performing at The Forum a month later, West left the stage due to a sore throat, after apologizing to fans. Finally, following his most recent outburst this past Saturday, the rapper also cancelled his Sunday performance at The Forum just three hours before it was scheduled to start.
