Instagram-off: The music stars you need to follow
Instagram allows us to get a little closer to our favourite music stars – while letting them get a little creative – and with newbies such as Prince and Adele joining the fun, we’ve found our Instagram heroes.
It’s time for Instagram-off!
Taylor Swift – @taylorswift
From her cats to her squad, Taylor Swift’s Instagram makes us a little jealous that we’re not her (or at least part of her life). Everyone, literally everyone, has appeared on her account, much like on her 1989 world tour.
Adele – @adele
In seven days, Adele garnered 1.5 million followers. Job well done. The singer’s first post was the confirmation of her album release. Her following posts have been arty shots of the singer. We can’t wait for more.
Royal Blood – @royalblooduk
The duo who caused a storm with their self-titled debut album in 2014. Their account is a mix of awesome live shots and backstage goodness.
Rihanna – @badgalriri
The closest you will ever get to being ‘up-close-and-personal’ to RiRi. From photo shoots to personal shots, Rihanna gives you more than a glimpse into her life.
Ed Sheeran – @Teddysphotos
Like his Twitter, Ed Sheeran’s Instagram is full of fun. Give him a follow for random jokes, funny photos and, of course, some gig shots.
Prince(stagram) – @prince
Prince joined Instagram. Prince joined Instagram and started posting Prince memes. Prince joined Instagram and decided it should be named Princestagram. We’re okay with this.
The Black Keys – @theblackkeys
Along with the usual tour photos and backstage stuff, The Black Keys do regular takeovers where the crew will give us another insight into the world of touring.
Beyonce – @Beyonce
We can’t talk about Instagram without Queen Bey. The flawless singer has a flawless account, so just imagine lots of incredible imagery.
James Bay – @jamesbaymusic
The singer-songwriter’s Insta profile is full of touring, recording and general James Bay antics, including a trip to the Harry Potter studios.
