Bonobo announces new album Migration and global tour.
British musician, producer and DJ, Simon Green – better know by his stage name Bonobo – has announced he’ll release new album Migration this January.
The highly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s The North Borders was revealed on Twitter and features a host of musical collaborators.
Accompanying the news, the LA-based artist posted a video for the album’s first single, Kerala and details of his upcoming global tour.
Bonobo Tour dates 2017
The Migration tour will visit the UK, Europe, USA and Canada throughout the first half of 2017.
European dates include Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, France and the UK, with tickets on sale via Seatwave.

Due for release on 13 January 2017, Bonobo’s sixth studio album, Migration features a host of exciting musical guests. Collaborators include Rhye, Innov Gnawa, Hundred Waters’ Nicole Miglis and Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker), who will also play Brixton Academy next week.
After signing with Coldcut’s label Ninja Tune in 2001, Bonobo has gone on to release five albums. First re-releasing Animal Magic – a completely self-produced and self-instrumented album originally released on Tru Thoughts in 2000), followed by Dial M for Monkey in 2003, Days To Come in 2006 and Black Sands in 2010 and 2013’s The North Borders.
Since 2014’s North Border’s tour, Bonobo has toured with a live band. Formally performing solo, he’s added a string section, keyboardist, guitarist, saxophonist and drummer, as well as singers and electronics to his live setup.
New Single: Kerala
In addition, the musician shared a video for first single, Kerala.
The video, directed by Bison – who has also created videos for Birdy and Jon Hopkins – stars actress Gemma Arterton, and follows her as she runs from a meteor.
